FORESIGHT COMPLEX is a set of documentary illustrations observing the existence of humans, animals and the environment many years from now.
Each poster examines a different aspect and possible outcome of global warming, from water scarcity and contamination, massive flooding, bunker farming to raging uncontrolled wildfires. These concepts may be reality for earths inhabitants if we continue at the rate (and rate of growth) of consumption experienced today. The objective of Foresight Complex is to generate and perpetuate an understanding and desire to take global warming and climate change seriously.
UPDATE: Since the creation of this artwork, the visions depicted have materialized in the form of the devastation of Hurricane Irma and the California wildfires. Now, more than ever we are feeling the effects of unsustainable consumption, without a paradigm shift we can't hope to survive.
